Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, all the way down on the beach.
We feel like the ceremony is totally optional for guests - it will be brief, on the beach, no seating, not formal, etc - but you’re welcome to stop by if you’d like!
There’s a little picnic shelter that we have reserved for the whole day - so feel free (if you want!) to come on down anytime with a blanket or some chairs (or go ahead and plop your bottom in the sand).

Where is the reception?
The Main Event!
The reception will be at a lovely little bar called The Ink Drinker in Ballard. We have the entire place rented out for the night. The food and drinks there are delicious and we’ll be delighted to treat you all.
Where should we stay?
If you’re coming in from out of town (yay!), we’d recommend staying anywhere north, starting with downtown.
Close to the reception: Hotel Ballard or Ballard Inn
Close-ish to the reception: Hotel Nexus, MarQueen Hotel, or Travelodge
Also, of course, there are airbnbs all over!
Do you have a registry?
That’s so kind of you to ask, but no, we do not. Your company is the most important gift we could receive!
What should we wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! We’ll be in dresses, like, probably fancy ones - so feel free to dress up if you’d like (while remembering you’ll be on a beach, maybe briefly?) Or! You’ll have time to do an outfit swap between the beach and the bar!
The Ink Drinker is classy but not stuffy. Quirky classy? Seattle Fancy? We just want to see you and want you to wear something you like.
Random things we should consider?
Yes! This is the same weekend as the Capitol Hill Block Party, which means traffic around downtown and Capitol Hill will be bonkers. Like, 10,000 people trying to get to CH bonkers. For this reason, we recommend staying somewhere north of downtown.
